Save Me Money!

Everyone wants to save on their gas bills here are a few methods to help with that. Also refer to Condensing Boilers 

Setting the timer on your heating system is the main way. For example you may not require hot water and heating to run at the same time. 

Bleed radiator if they are hot at the bottom and cold at the top.

Heat can be lost through outside walls behind radiators. To reduce this, fit reflective foil paper to the wall behind the radiator.

Room thermostats are very sensitive and by reducing the setting by just 1°C can save up to 10% on your fuel bill.  Use an appropriate draught excluder around doors, windows, letterboxes and keyholes. Do not, however, block or seal any air vents which ensure that the gas appliances operate safely.

Ensure that curtains are not draped over radiators.
