Gas Tumble Dryers - installation and servicing

Gas tumble dryers are currently not so common, but as more people become interested in saving money and reducing their carbon footprints, the numbers are growing since the costs of running a gas tumble dryer are typically in the range of 33% to 50% lower than those associated with an electric tumble dryer.
One other cost you will need to take into consideration if you’re looking for a gas dryer is the initial installation and ongoing servicing of your machine.
By law, your gas tumble dryer will need to be professionally installed and regularly serviced by a Gas Safe registered engineer (this replaced the Corgi gas register scheme in April 2009).
All gas tumble dryers must be air-vented so this means that a hole must be made through an exterior wall if one is not already there.
